Dispatchers who have not worked with us previously must acknowledge our company policies and provide their banking details for commission payments by submitting this form. A dispatcher identification number and password for our Dispatcher Portal will be emailed to the address you provided within 24 hours of receiving your submission.

Please note that we will not review single-lane load ideas that are submitted via email, phone call, voicemail, or text. Single-lane load proposals must be submitted via the Dispatcher Portal.

If load and rate criteria are not met or detailed facility information is not provided with a load idea, we will not book the load. If we encounter difficulties on a run that conflict with our published company policies, we will not book future work with the dispatcher or company who made the arrangements. Dispatchers who repeatedly submit load proposals that do not adhere to the policies detailed below will have their dispatcher ID number and password revoked.

Please read the following information carefully and understand the details before submitting the form. If you have any questions before submitting this form, please email:
CONDUCT
Rude, disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Pushy sales tactics such as repetitive communication received via email, phone call, voicemail, or text will be blocked immediately. All our company employees are also drivers that are trained to very high safety standards. Their communication devices are turned off while they are hauling. Please do not contact us for updates during the haul. Progress toward the destination can be monitored via live tracking, which is linked at the top and bottom of all our website pages.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before submitting a load proposal, please note our current location and operational status at the bottom of any page of our website. Please be certain to adhere to our load requirement criteria and company policies. If we are interested in your proposal, we will reach out using the contact information you provided. If you have not heard back from us at least 12 hours before our next pickup availability, (as indicated at the bottom of our website pages) it is likely that we are already booked. We do not respond to status update inquiries concerning load proposal submissions.

We do not "onboard" or sign contracts with dispatch companies, as there is no legal requirement in the United States for carriers to share documents or sign contracts with anyone except for the brokers they are hauling for. If a broker needs specific information, we will send the associated documents to them directly, upon request. Please do ask us to “onboard” with you, or your company.

We do not require additional dispatch services or handling after the Rate Confirmation is signed. After the broker returns the signed RateCon to us, we will send you a copy for your records. From that point forward, Bare Cove Logistics staff will handle all broker communications for the remainder of the run, including signed Bill of Lading (BOL) submissions. Feel free to monitor our route progress via live tracking, which is linked at the bottom of all our website pages. Please do not contact us for updates during the run. Commission funds will be submitted to you for payment immediately after delivery is completed.

We have a factoring agreement with OTR Solutions. The broker must be on OTR's list of approved vendors for us to accept the load. We will check the approval status of the broker after receiving your load proposal. If the broker is not approved, we will not book the load.

We will not accept an empty or loaded trailer if we deem it is not in safe, roadworthy condition or if the registration is not current and valid. We will not load or connect to a trailer if negligent safety practices are observed at the facility.

We will not sign a Rate Confirmation at the last minute and rush to a shipping facility that is nearing closing time. We follow all speed limits, driving laws, and FMCSA Hours-of-Service regulations. Though we strive for, and routinely pick up and deliver ahead of schedule, under no circumstances will we endanger public safety, ourselves, or our cargo to "get there faster."

We will not accept loads that require us to provide advance funding of any kind or conduct financial transactions until the load has been delivered to the destination. We will make no exceptions to this policy.

RATE & MILEAGE CRITERIA

The lowest rate that Bare Cove Logistics will accept for providing trucking services is $2.75 per mile. The distance of the lane must be 900 miles or more. Please do not submit Load Proposals that do not meet our minimum rate and mileage criteria. Minimum rate and mileage criteria are subject to change at any time.

ELECTRONIC LOGGING DEVICES (ELD) CONSIDERATIONS

All our drivers utilize the 70-hour/8-day ELD limit. Please be certain the load you are proposing to us can be realistically delivered on time. Driving an average of 11 hours per day without breaks to deliver on time is not realistic or legal. Please calculate the time enroute with the information you have. If delivery cannot be realistically or legally accomplished on time, the broker should be notified that a change needs to be made. We will not book loads that put us at risk for potential FMCSA Hours-of-Service violations.

To maintain a consistent sleep schedule and efficiently use their available ELD hours, our drivers prefer to pick up loads between 6:00 am and 10:00 am in the morning. To be clear, that is a preference - not a requirement.

LOAD CRITERIA

Our FMCSA Carrier Operation is “Interstate.” We are only authorized to carry General Freight. We will not accept loads that require additional permitting beyond the provisions of our current MC authorization.

We DO NOT haul Hazardous Materials. (We will not accept HAZMAT loads)

Loads need to be booked with the Rate Confirmation signed at least 12 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup.

We strongly prefer power-only, "hook & drop" hauls, as we do not own our own trailers. Our trucks can connect to loaded trailers up to 53' long including dry vans, refrigerated units, and loaded flatbeds.

For power-only flatbed hauls, the cargo must be properly secured in advance of our arrival.

We have countrywide access to dry van or refrigerated loadout trailers to use for load pickups. Please check our "Current Equipment" status at the bottom of our website pages before submitting a proposal. If a power-only project is not available and we currently don’t have a trailer attached for the next pickup, arrangements must be made to pick up a loadout trailer to use for the next proposed haul.

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING FACILITY CRITERIA

In general, dispatchers with well-established broker relationships secure the most profitable lanes. Though we welcome less experienced dispatchers to work with us, we do not want to review load proposals that were randomly selected from a load board without consulting the broker for detailed information.
Please Note:

We will not accept hauls that require multiple pickup or delivery locations.

We will not work with facilities that require us to be onsite for more than 2 hours to load or unload our truck.

We prefer to pick up and deliver loads at facilities that provide a time window during their normal business hours. (For instance, pickup between 8:00am and 4:00pm)

If necessary, we will accept a specific appointment time at the SHIPPING facility, but please note that we will NOT work with RECEIVING facilities that require specific unloading time appointments. A time window, or 24-hour access is required at the RECEIVING FACILITY.

If we are not being actively loaded within 1 hour of checking in at the shipper's location, we will notify the shipper, broker, and dispatcher that we are declining the contract and leaving the facility.
If the broker is unwilling or unable to share all relevant details of the lane, we do not want to book a load with them. To provide the best possible service and avoid costly delays, we require the following information about the shipping and receiving facilities we are being sent to:
Shipping AND receiving facility contact information
(Names, phone numbers, VERIFIED addresses, and arrival parking locations)

Average waiting times and unloading procedures
(Will the truck be unloaded without delay, or is pallet breakdown required?)
Hours of operation with pickup AND delivery dates and associated time windows
Lumper fees, if any - with associated payment procedures planned in advance
Onsite security protocols, and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) requirements, if applicable
Onsite safety policies
Detainment policy and rate information
WE REPEAT: WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SPECIFIC DELIVERY TIME APPOINTMENTS AT RECEIVING FACILITIES
SCALING INFORMATION & CRITERIA

Though federal regulations allow for a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of up to 80,000 pounds, our company policy strictly limits GVW to 76,000 pounds.

Our tractor unit without a trailer attached weighs 21,000 pounds.

For power-only projects, the total trailer weight with cargo must not exceed 55,000 pounds.
(21,000-pound tractor + 55,000-pound trailer with cargo = 76,000 pounds)

For dry vans or reefer pickups, the cargo alone must not exceed 35,000 pounds.

We will not make exceptions to the above scaling guidelines under any circumstances.

DISPATCH COMMISSION INFORMATION

Bare Cove Logistics LLC pays 3-5% commissions to dispatchers for load procurement, with the final commission rate negotiated in advance of the haul. The commission rate will depend on the quality of the referral and the volume of work provided.

Commission funds are submitted for payment immediately after we are unloaded at the receiver's facility and presented with a signed Bill of Lading. Commission payments are sent via your choice of Bank Wire, Zelle, or Venmo.
As you proceed, please be certain to complete the Dispatcher Information and Banking Information sections ACCURATELY!
