About Us
Hello, and thank you for visting our site. I'm Mike Martin, owner and operator of Bare Cove Logistics. I founded BCL in 1994 as a general contracting company in Hingham, Massachusetts, a suburb located about 15 miles southeast of Boston, MA. Initially focused on residential remodeling and repairs, we have since expanded our operations to include long haul freight and transportation services. Our primary focus in the trucking industry is providing "Power Only" services to freight companies that need their loaded trailers safely hauled in a timely manner. We operate a 2019 Peterbilt 579, and can haul to and from any of the lower 48 U.S. States. We can accomodate trailers up to 53 feet long including dry and refrigerated vans, with a Gross Vehicle Weight capacity of 80,000 pounds.
Hi everyone! Thank you for visting the site. I'm Mike Martin, owner and operator of Bare Cove Logistics. I love driving! After a 30-year career as a beekeeper and home-inprovement contractor, I decided that I had enough of ladders - and hit the road.
Luna loves over-the-road trucking but isn't comfortable with swimming. Dexter can't get enough of the ocean, but is afraid of highway driving. Go figure!? Luna loves her position in our 2019 Peterbilt 579. For every hour we are driving, she averages 45 mins in the sleeper berth, either resting or watching traffic through the "Luna window." For the other 15 minutes, she comes up for a better view in the passenger's seat, closely observing the scenery and passing cars.
